Ischemic stroke associated with methamphetamine inhalation

From the Department of Neurology (Drs. Rothrock and Lyden), University of California, San Diego, CA; and the Department of Neurology (Dr. Rubenstein), Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.

Intracranial hemorrhage and ischemic stroke have been reported to complicate oral or intravenous use of methamphetamine. We report three cases of ischemic stroke following methamphetamine inhalation.
