Article abstract We report a patient with multifocal motor neuropathy (MMN) who experienced a paradoxical decline in baseline strength to below pretreatment levels during a period of improvement associated with human immunoglobulin (HIG) administration. This outcome suggests that HIG may not limit progression of MMN and may reduce the utility of HIG as chronic therapy.
