Call for Peer Reviewers for Neurology: Education
Peer review is essential to the success of journals and vital to ensuring the highest quality and relevance in published research. Neurology: Education is seeking qualified peer reviewers who are interested in supporting the journal’s mission and reviewing submitted manuscripts.
Neurology: Education is a new journal in the field of neurologic and neuroscience education that publishes original research articles, reviews, and editorials on evidence-based teaching methods and curriculum innovations. The journal provides the academic community with a forum to exchange ideas that enhance neurologic and neuroscience education. The journal is free for readers and authors.
As the journal can only accept a minority of submitted manuscripts, it must identify those articles that are the most informative for readers and help us better understand and advance evidence-based teaching in neurologic and neuroscience education. The advice of reviewers regarding the novelty of the research question, suitability of the study methods, interpretation of the results, accuracy of the report, and the implications of the findings for educators is critical to help the journal make decisions about which papers should be published.
The journal welcomes new and existing peer reviewers from all relevant fields including, but not limited to, neurology, psychiatry, neuroscience, neuropsychology, medical education, biomedical education, and related fields. We also welcome residents, fellows, and other trainees who are interested in reviewing to provide their expertise on the relevance of teaching interventions from the perspective of the trainee.
Please send an email to NEjournal@neurology.org if you would like to review. For guidance in reviewing, see the Information for Reviewers (IFR) link at n.neurology.org/submit/submitreview.
