Call for Without Borders Blogs

 

The Without Borders specialty site is looking for blogs on the topic of neurology and global health. The mission of the Without Borders site is to provide important, engaging, accurate, and timely content on issues in global neurology with emphasis on underserved populations in lower-resourced countries and environments globally.


Descriptions of research, education, collaboration programs in global neurology

Reflections from neurologists, researchers, educators, and students in the field

Discussions of important issues, papers, and topics relevant to neurologic research and care worldwide

Commentaries on announcements, conferences, and other important events

 

Submissions are welcome from all members of the neurology and neuroscience community.

How to Submit Blog Ideas for Review

  • Email a short description of your blog to digital@neurology.org for review with the subject line "Without Borders Blog Submission"
  • The Without Borders Editors will review your blog topic and provide suggestions (Note: The Editors reserve the right to decline topics that are out of scope of the site)
  • Neurology staff will contact blog writers with the decision

Writing Your Blog

  • Provide blog in a word document
  • Initial blog submissions are 500-700 words in length
  • Maximum of 10 references
  • Title included

Submitting Your Blog

  • Email completed blogs to digital@neurology.org and include your name, degrees, and institution in the body of the email
  • Editors will review your blog submission and provide edits/revisions
  • Authorship and Disclosures forms will be requested by staff for accepted blog along with a short biography and headshot (optional)
